enough

You are enough for me.
In every way and through all things.

I do not mean to say, simply, that you measure up; that there is just the right amount of you.

Rather, you have transposed your every thought and deed into my bones. Every atom of my being calls out to you with such ferocity, it seems as if my very soul is being pulled from my body somedays.

I am hopelessly caught in your wake. The sheer gravity of you, crushing me into ever smaller pieces.

You could obliterate me and I would thank you for the pleasure of it. Eviscerate me with a withering glance and I would hold together ribbons of flesh while praising your name.

You are enough because there is nothing I wouldn’t endure merely to find my name upon your lips. There is no part of you that I don’t desire to own.
